Max Wailes
Studio Assistant
Max joined Powerhouse after studying Photography at Leeds Arts University, bringing with him a mix of creative know-how and hands-on experience from roles in camera shops, freelancing, and even a stint in newspaper photography. Since stepping into his role at Powerhouse, it’s safe to say he’s become the to-go person on set, keeping studios running smoothly, setting up for shoots, supporting photographers and capturing behind-the-scenes moments when the opportunity arises.
He especially enjoyed working with Warrendale Wagyu and Bannisters, on shoots that took him out onto farms and gave him the chance to capture some stills himself. Outside the studio, Max is multifaceted as ever, his love for photography continues in the form of landscapes as well as his free time being spent working on cars including restoring a very rusty Land Rover Discovery, like we said a man of many talents.
