Paul Wingfield

Paul is our Post-Production Manager, a professional whistler and more importantly, our office dog Mutley’s dad. He studied a Film Production Degree and taught A level students for two years, but his passion goes way back in time. As a kid, he used to love playing with Lego, bringing stories and themes to life with all his characters, which unintentionally led him to being deeply interested in Storytelling.

Paul joined Powerhouse in 2020, after living and working down in London for several years, for RD Content and Inspire Films. He won two awards in the 2019 Event and Visual Communication Association (EVCOM) London Film Awards with Action Medical Research’s “Born Too Soon” film, an emotional documentary that was used to raise awareness about premature births – and serves as a testament to his dedication and creativity.

Apart from creating beautiful content, Paul is passionate about the environment and social responsibility, and so “The Royal Geographical Society would be a dream company to do work for”, in his own words.

In the last two years Paul’s learnt 3D, but he’s eager to keep learning and developing, and has got some courses in the pipeline in Animation. Outside of work, he loves creating educational children’s stories, where both parents and kids will read together, as he believes teaching through stories is much more powerful and gives a better memory recollection.
