Mai Gonzalez
Head of Marketing
A globe trotter. Mai was born is Sweden, grew up in the sunny island of Gran Canaria and moved to Australia at the early age of 18, where she studied Business and Management, whilst travelling up and down the country. Shortly after, she jetted off to New Zealand for a year before settling in the UK. Without having a clear career angle, she decided to jump on an International Digital Marketing online course from Universitat Oberta de Catalunya – loved it so much that she dived straight into her first Marketing role back in 2019 and has never looked back.
Mai joined Powerhouse in 2022 as Marketing Manager and has since grown the department into a team of three, overseeing the agency’s entire marketing function. With a sharp eye for detail and a strong creative flair, she’s passionate about the brand she’s built and is dedicated to making Powerhouse famous. Canva is her go-to tool, but it’s her strategic drive and energy that keep the marketing engine running.
Outside of work, she enjoys walking, running, and spending time in nature. She also loves exploring new places around the world and discovering different foods along the way.
